The end to a new beginning

This first blog post I am writing in the present moment. I have prepared many blog posts that have been written from as far back as April 20th (my first day in Uganda). These posts are coming from my journal writing while I have been away and will lead up to present day. Haven't yet decided if I'll post them all at once or if I'll just do a few a day. The problem with not posting them all at once is that I will continue to be posting thoughts from the past rather than the present. To anyone who reads my blog, forgive the fact that there may be like 15 posts made in a day or 2..after that they will probably only come once daily at the most. So pace yourself..

After reading through some of these journals again I can remember those moments so clearly, and in some ways I still feel completely the same and in other ways I feel totally different. But I think anything I had been thinking or feeling at any moment was valid and whether or not anyone has any interest in reading my every thought, it's helpful for me to have a place to store them all. Like a library catalog I can look back to whenever I feel the need to revisit those feelings and hash things out. So here it goes. My journey is soon coming to an end and I am sad about it, but I have realized that it has become a wide open door to so many more opportunities that I can be excited about in the future!
